Pike, Keith A. Ternary vapour–liquid equilibria This investigation has been aimed at reducing the gap which exists between theoretical and practical studies in vapour liquid equilibrium. A literature survey has been made of the recent developments that are likely to be of increasing importance in vapour–liquid equilibrium investigations. Besides a study of basic relationships in vapour–liquid equilibrium the survey has dealt with aspects of the application of gas–liquid chromatography and digital computation techniques to vapour–liquid equilibrium. Gas–liquid chromatography has been shown to provide many opportunities for improvements to vapour–liquid equilibrium experimental techniques, while digital computation methods are enabling theoretical considerations which have been known for many years, to be now applied to practical problems.
