Early detection of this degradation process will provide the owner with the optimum number of repair options whilst minimising repair costs. This paper reports on the new non-destructive corrosion detection technique for reinforced concrete – AeCORR, specifically targeted towards detecting active corrosion damage occurring within the concrete during the very early stages of the degradation process.
