This case study has been developed as part of the Engineering Subject Centre Teaching Awards 2004-2005, from data gathered through a demonstration of the teaching and learning materials available, interviews with the tutor and a student focus group. This case study describes how teams of students taking the Business Planning module of the Masters in Engineering programme at The University of Sheffield solve a genuine commercial problem provided by real customers.
