It should be noted that the clothing colour are changing all the time and not as static as housing and street furniture. The soft colour can arguably be seen as scattered components in macroscale of urban environments; but in a street level of observation, the fashion style of pedestrians is crucial. The identity of any sizable place is likely to be the sum of all kinds of smaller identities, and each place is a collection of identities. (Nairn, 1965: 72). Every visual elements potentially contributes to the identity of place, because the soft colours are also communicating and intensifying a visual clue for discovering the identity of inhabitants.
