Carbon dioxide has been considered to be a major contributor to the greenhouse gas which contributes to the global warming. Carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) technique has been suggested as a feasible option to mitigate this CO2 emission. However, the major problem of CO2 storage is the potential risk of CO2 leakage from the storage reservoirs to shallow aquifer. This work investigate the effects of parameters (i.e. pressure, temperature, pH, rock type, salinity and salt type) on σb-Sw and εb-Sw relationships during CO2 injection process.
