In this paper the numerical modelling study over the performance of multi-bladed Hydrokinetic Turbine is presented. The main objective of the numerical analysis is to evaluate the values of the turbine’s theoretical static torque. Three different major design of the turbine were examined, each of which includes several subdesigns. The obtained theoretical results from the numerical analysis were used to evaluate the efficiency of the different designs. The most effective design of the hydrokinetic turbine was chosen for further investigations and development.
