Positive pressure dependence of the superconducting transition temperature in C6Yb
journal contribution
posted on 2017-11-20, 14:15 authored by Robert P. Smith, Thomas E. Weller, Anna KusmartsevaAnna Kusmartseva, Neal T. Skipper, Mark Ellerby, Siddharth S. SaxenaWe have made a preliminary study of the evolution, with hydrostatic pressure, of the recently discovered superconductivity in the graphite intercalation compound C 6 Yb. We present a pressure-temperature phase diagram established by electrical transport and magnetization measurements. In the range 0-1.2 GPa, the superconducting transition temperature increases linearly with pressure ( d T c / d P =+ 0.389 ± 0.005 K / GPa). © 2006 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
