Through a selection the work by R Bernabei was chosen to feature in the following book: Narrative Jewelry by M Fenn. Her piece of jewellery is one of the pieces made during the two participatory projects with community in Leicestershire in 2016. The first project was 'Loughborough Jewels' with local community. Its aim was to imbue participants' memories in wearable artifacts. The project was commissioned by RADAR arts centre and supported by Charnwood Arts centre. The second project was with elderly participants at Cedar Home care in Rothley. In this investigation the emotionally and mnemonic jewellery was introduced to explore possibilities for jewellery to act an an aid for well-being.
