Development, as the word suggests, is a positive and productive improvement on an existing structure. Or, in sociological terms, it is a sort of social change during which the achievements (in terms of wealth) and income of any given society markedly increase - with this increase reflected in higher average incomes for the families and persons within that society. This social change is a result of (or is often activated by) some changes in the political, economic and ideological framework of the society's governing principles. [Continues.]
