This paper presents a theoretical study over the performance of a turbine type flowmeter “ИЗОТ 1ГЖ06”. The SolidWorks 3D modelling software is used for the generation of the flowmeter physical model. The CFD Flow Simulation package is applied for the theoretical investigation of the flowmeter performance. As a result of the investigation the velocity and pressure distribution flow fields through the flowmeter are obtained. The flow trajectories passing through the device are also presented. The flowmeter theoretical performance characteristics are also presented in the paper.
