The project implemented in Ghana, Mozambique and Nigeria, was proposed by the WHO /UNICEF Joint Monitoring Programme (JMP) and implemented under the supervision of UNICEF. The project adopted a working title of Water and Sanitation Monitoring Platform (WSMP).
