This chapter utilises data from previous research studies to investigate the extent to which resilient techniques are currently being employed in the repair of flood damaged property in England and Wales. It discusses the wider implications of the effect of flooding on property values and seeks to offer some conclusions regarding the long term benefits derived from adopting flood resilient reinstatement techniques and methods.
