Engineering of Sport 15 - Proceedings from the 15th International Conference on the Engineering of Sport (ISEA 2024)

This study evaluates the acceleration coordination between the vehicle body and a rider on a bicycle. By estimating the posture of the sensors which are attached to the vehicle body and a rider, gravitational acceleration is removed from the accelerometer outputs. The singular value decomposition is performed on the dynamic acceleration of the vehicle body and a rider for identifying how balance is maintained.
