Diversity? So What? Exploring the benefits of establishing an ethnically diverse coaching workforce in Cricket

This research aims to examine the presence of racialised inequities in sports coaching and the effectiveness of measures to address these inequities in three sports in England: Rugby Union, Basketball, and Cricket.

I. Identify the representation & racialised experiences of ethnically diverse male coaches in coach education and coach employment

II. Examine the implementation and effectiveness of measures designed to address racialised inequities for ethnically diverse male coaches in coach education and coach employment

III. Analyse the perceived and realised benefits of cultural diversity in the coaching workforce for NGB’s, professional clubs, coaches, and players.
