Selecting simple chlorinators for community water supplies

A variety of devices can be used for chlorination of smallscale community water supplies in rural areas of developing countries. This paper focuses on ones that do not require chlorine gas or electricity. It offers guidance on the selection of such devices and it highlights some of the operational problems that need to be overcome when using them.
