Air particulate concentrations for a day of laser hair reduction procedures in a tertiary referral laser dermatology unit. Samples were taken using a TSI 3330 Optical Particle Sizer at a sample rate of 1 s. Volumetric air flow rate of 1.0 L/min. The particulate mass concentration of particulates with aerodynamic velocity < 2.5 µm diameter (PM2.5) are calculated for analysis. Particulates are assumed to be spherical with an average density of 1.2 g/cm3.
