This is a dataset consisting of the wheel CAD geometry and the wind tunnel PIV data files used for the following publication:

Wheel_FullScale.x_t is the Parasolid CAD file for the full-scale wheel geometry used for the majority of the study.


Wheel_WTVersion.x_t is the Parasolid CAD file for the half-scale wheel geometry used for the wind tunnel experiment and numerical validation study.


Wheel_WTVersionwithWT.x_t is the Parasolid CAD file for the half-scale wheel geometry and the wind tunnel geometry used for the wind tunnel experiment and numerical validation study.


X330mm_Mean.dat is the file containing the mean velocity components for the x/d=1 plane from the PIV.


X495mm_Mean.dat is the file containing the mean velocity components for the x/d=1.5 plane from the PIV.


Y0mm_Mean.dat is the file containing the mean velocity components for the y/d=0 plane from the PIV.


Y0mm_RMS.dat is the file containing the root mean square of the velocity components for the y/d=0 plane from the PIV.

Y50mm_Mean.dat is the file containing the mean velocity components for the y/d=0.152 plane from the PIV.


Y50mm_RMS.dat is the file containing the root mean square of the velocity components for the y/d=0.152 plane from the PIV.
