The dataset contains the generated outputs from storyboard workshops conducted in Manchay, Lima and Huánuco. The 'storyboard' workshops were part of a series of participatory co-design workshops conducted from June to October 2022.

Each workshop had between 8-12 participants who then worked in small groups with members of the research team. The outputs were collaboratively created by caregivers and healthcare professionals who developed a visual story (storyboard) based on design concepts (2/3 per workshop, 1 per group) provided by the research team. For the workshop in Huánuco, participants followed a template provided by researchers in order to facilitate the activity. For the workshop in Manchay, participants sketched their own storyboards. In both study locations, participants used design cards provided by the research team.

Notes and text in the dataset are in Spanish language with some terms in English language.

Co-design outputs were created as part of a wider interdisciplinary project (PERUSANO study) which aimed to address multiple forms of malnutrition, particularly stunting, anaemia, and risk of overweight/obesity in Peruvian infants and young children aged 6-23 months old. The study took place in two peri-urban areas in Peru: Manchay in Lima and Huánuco district in the Andean highlands.
