This course aims to introduce undergraduate students to the Future Flight innovation ecosystem and enable them to critically explore how emergent aerospace ventures use business models, dynamic capabilities, and circular economy principles to navigate technological and environmental disruption.

By the end of the course, students will be able to:

  1. Explain the principles of the Future Flight ecosystem and its social, environmental, and economic implications.
  2. Apply key components of the Business Model Canvas (BMC) to emerging technologies in aviation.
  3. Analyse how dynamic capabilities support strategic innovation in uncertain technological contexts.
  4. Evaluate opportunities for sustainable and circular design within early-stage aerospace ventures.
  5. Collaborate to develop and present a future-facing business proposition for an aviation-related product or service.
