The influence of pupil-centred teaching methods on pupil attitude to school

This investigation is concerned with the interaction between children's attitude to school and the form of 'contact' between them and their teachers. It is extensive rather than intensive in that it seeks to illuminate a form of approach rather than to demonstrate a firm relationship. This philosophy has been followed in order, firstly, to indicate the possible strength of the relationship, and secondly, to open up opportunity for developing the approach both in diversity and extent.
