Gerrard Street (City of Westminster Street Nameplate)
This adapted version of the City of Westminster street nameplate
incorporates Chinese script to denote the Chinatown
neighbourhood of London's West End. Gerrard Street is now at the centre
of this cultural area that formed in the 1950s, located between
Shaftesbury Avenue to the north, Rupert Street to the west, Charing
Cross Road to the east and Leicester Square to the south.
