The composited images explains why most of the people mistakenly associate the 'Golden Mile' with jewellery shops of Belgrave Road. The colour helps to illustrate a visual image of the place: the golden jewellery display in adjacent retails and windows; and golden signage as visual identity for shops, this is to say, the golden colour has been registered as a colour identity for Belgrave Road.
