Bioimaging experiments are carried out in discrete labs, and artists are rarely granted access. They are an underused resource for artists and designers. These images demonstrate how an artist can contribute to art-science initiatives in advanced imaging and microscopy labs by responding innovatively to current circumstances in bioimaging by thinking about scientific and artistic interdisciplinary practice in a “playful” way.
Exhibited at the Birmingham School of Art What is Drawing Research? group exhibition, 3 November 2023, Birmingham.
