In the early 18th century, French Huguenot silk weavers lived and worked in the Spitalfields area of London. Inspiration is drawn from the contrast between the richness of the 'Bizarre' silk designs they produced & the faded interiors that survive today. This collection explores how light falls on and through different materials.<p></p>
