Designer studied the horticultural movement & the beginning of enclosed pleasure gardens, & interpreted it into the modern gardens such as Kew Gardens. 'Hortus Conclusus' is inspired by the recent exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts: 'Painting the Modern Garden: Monet to Matisse'.
