Work is based around imagery designer collected on a recent trip to Zanzibar, inspired by the patterns found within chaotic architectural forms. To emulate contrasts between natural & man-made materials designer explored weaving with plastic twine & raffia, seeking to enhance repeat patterns with a unique textural quality.
