Portraiture is fascinating as it describes the human condition through expression, mark-making & colour. Furthermore, self-portraiture is a personal exploration of one's sense of self & emotion. Coming through a pandemic having spent a lot of time alone, this was opportunity to give a tangible definition to feeling.
