Sheet-like MoSe2/C nanocomposites were synthesized and employed as the cathode
of a rechargeable Mg2+/Li+ hybrid battery for the first time, which exhibited an
excellent electrochemical performance. The structure transformation of the MoSe2/C
nanocomposite materials during the charge-discharge processes was identified by in
situ XRD, and the electrochemical reactions taking place in the battery were
evidenced.
