Construction operative motivation and productivity

The early results of the construction productivity research undertaken at Loughborough University indicated that there was a distinct relationship between remuneration, motivation and site efficiency*. Consequently, observations taken on late site visits were used to quantify this relationship and determine the relevance of the major motivation theories to the construction industry.
