Freie Radikale: Oxidativer Stress laesst die Haut alt aussehen

Ein ausgiebiges Sonnenbad ist purer Stress für die Haut. Unter dem Einfluss von UV-Strahlung entstehen freie Radikale, meist reaktive Sauerstoffspezies, die die Haut vielfältig schädigen. Antioxidantien und andere Wirkstoffe sollen vor oxidativem Stress und vorzeitiger Hautalterung schützen. Möglicherweise kann man auch bereits vorhandene Schäden in der DNA wieder rückgängig machen.
