This paper is an example of the outcomes from an IPA analysis of a physical activity referral scheme (PARS)
non-completer. It demonstrates the value of conducting qualitative research to better understand who a noncompleter
is, how to support them to become physically active thus improving the PARS experience by listening
to the expert; the patient.
