Participatory research with young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities: A reflective account
The purpose of this paper is to respond to the call for less sanitised accounts of participatory research and instead presents a functional and transparent account of some of the messiness, challenges and triumphs of researching with young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disability (SEND) (Fitzgerald, Stride, and Enright 2020; Horgan 2017).
