Scattering of an acoustic wedge wave by a shallow notch

The scattering of an acoustic wedge wave by a shallow notch is investigated in the first perturbation approximation. It is shown that scattering goes into all wedge modes. Analytical equations are derived for the amplitudes of the scattered waves.
