The slow-motion detail shows her dexterity at speed to produce high-quality artefacts. Rita uses a simple fixture clamped to a table to help her complete the task at speed.
Rita teaches her skills to a number of schools and sheltered workshops in the East London region of South Africa as well as being a practising crafts-person.
