School of Design and Creative Arts: Connector Challenge
A flash installation of over 300 sculpted artefacts produced by 150 plus students from all Part A programmes was assembled over a three-hour period outside the Award-winning Design School building. The combined connector artefacts stretched over 120 metres. The connector challenge is part of an introductory module in the first six weeks of the first year. Students are introduced to basic skills training and practice, as well as the underpinning theory and principles associated with Design in the School of Design and Creative Arts, SDCA. The module is part of a new series of programmes within SDCA.
