The Oak Tree 2021 triptych version

A performance drawing to video triptych by artist Penny Davis as part of the research for the thesis Matricentric Drawing: Strategies for Visualising Reproductive Work and Maternal Thinking as a Single (M)other. The artist combines performance drawing to video with charcoal along with pencil drawings of maternal paperwork and digital animated drawings developed from diaries. The video is a test in The Oak Tree series of works.
