L’essentiel de ce que nous savons, nous l’apprenons d’autres personnes. Comme les enfants, la plupart de ces informations sont acceptees sans aucune question. Mais, plus l’apprentissage avance vers un niveau eleve, comme des etudes universitaires, plus il est attendu des etudiants qu’ils adoptent une approche critique sur ce qu’ils apprennent, evaluant les justifications et questionnant ce qui est presente. Etre capable de trouver, organiser et comparer differentes sources d’informations est une competence fondamentale attendue des etudiants et diplomes d’etudes superieures.
