AUTOMAT (an algorithmic robopoet) - a screen recording

This item is a screen recording (12 minutes) of the robopoet 'AUTOMAT' in action, as it composes echo-poems based on given authored writing, with the two displayed side by side. it also locates and selects associated commentaries from external files that match to keywords in the given or robopoetic texts. The work is made in Processing using Java, TXT, PNG and XML files and was produced as part of a practice-led PhD.
