Askio is a curious, big-hearted anthropomorphised question mark on a journey of learning. With an open mind and a love for asking thoughtful questions, they are here to spark meaningful conversations about equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI). Created from Inês’s work in teaching, research, and innovation, Askio embodies the curiosity and openness we all need when exploring complex ideas. They have four expressions - curious, thoughtful, surprised, and happy - because every learning journey includes moments of wonder, reflection, challenge, and discovery. Askio will be your guide here, encouraging you to read, reflect, and discuss. They are here to learn with you. Askio was brought to life through the creative digital design work of Sam Kennedy. The Askio Padlet was developed by Geianne Tugba, as part of her 2025 Talent Match Summer Internship at Loughborough University. ©Inês Varela-Silva, 2025 (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0)
