<p dir="ltr">The Amplify Venture programme, an 18-month UK Shared Prosperity Fund initiative, has provided valuable insights into supporting underrepresented founders in London’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. This strategic brief distils key learnings from the programme evaluation to guide practitioners, government bodies, and funding organisations in designing and delivering more effective inclusive entrepreneurship support. AV successfully supported 135 businesses, provided non-financial support to 122 founders, created 35 new jobs, and exceeded most of its equality, diversity, and inclusion targets, with many ethnic minority, women, first generation graduate, young, immigrant, LGBTQIA+ and disabled founders amongst its participants. At the same time, important tensions were revealed between funding requirements and effective support for diverse entrepreneurs.</p>
