Man like all animals is glass

This video was part of Eleanor Morgan’s solo exhibition Glass Delusions, at the Grant Museum of Zoology, London in 2015. Projected against the wall of the museum, the video shows a glass sponge being put back in the ocean by a remote-controlled underwater robot. The artist has reversed the original footage, taken by sponge scientist Dr Kate Hendry, to re-animate the dead creature.
