Access to sanitation facilities remains low with 12.2% of the population. According to the indicators report for Ministry of Water and Sanitation Niger 2018 ). Due to low investment in the sub sector. To increase the investment rate in the sanitation sub sector, the government has made a commitment with the support of several actors : UNICEF, Danish Cooperation etc. the common financing mechanism (MCF) under the leadership of the Ministry of Water and Sanitation. The allocated national budget is not sufficient to respond fairly and rationally to the needs of the sector as a whole.
