Life-cycle testing of batteries for solar eCook

With more than 768 million people in 2021 without access to electricity and about 2.6 bn without access to clean cooking in the same year, solar electric cooking with battery energy storage has continued to draw attention as an alternative solution to the twin goals of access to electricity and clean cooking. Clean cook cooking entail healthy living and reduced burden for mothers and babies. This effectively contributes to the attainment of SDG 7 and SDG 3 at the same time.
