This summary report is informed by a comprehensive review of international sources of literature including legislation, policy documents, government reports, protocols, practitioner guidance, third-sector research reports. Its primary purpose is to enhance the knowledge, understanding and application of Child First by stakeholder groups working in the YJS, including policymakers, managers, practitioners, third sector organisations and academics, by identifying and enabling access to evidential information to support Child First policymaking and practice.
