A comparison of the Standard Financial Statement (SFS)’s 2024/25 flexible spending guidelines with the costs of matched items from Minimum Income Standard (MIS) budgets. The SFS consists of a set of fixed and flexible expenditure categories. The three ‘flexible’ categories are: • Communications and leisure • Housekeeping (including food) • Personal costs.
