Police responses to disability hate crime in Essex: End of project report

<div>Criminal justice responses to disability hate crime have been criticised, particularly in relation to low rates of reporting. To address this, Essex Police are developing an evidence-base from which to promote best practice and build more effective responses to people who experience disability hate crime. The present research contributes to this evidence-base by undertaking a Rapid Evidence Assessment of the existing national literature and conducting focus groups with disabled people and organisations who support them.</div>
