For some time there has been growing concern over the apparent
increasingly sedentary lifestyle of children. Hence children's
activity patterns have come under scrutiny in an effort to establish
whether this concern was justified and to examine the extent to which
they were engaging in sufficient habitual exercise as would promote
beneficial cardiovascular effects. [Continues.]
