The aim of this work is to evaluate aspects of the performance of a novel
atomic fluorescence spectrometer. This instrument uses two inductively coupled plasmas, one as the light source and one as an atom and ion reservoir. The technique is
referred to by the acronym ASIA: Atomiser, Source, Inductively coupled plasmas in
Atomic fluorescence spectrometry. [Continues.]
