thesis
posted on 2018-05-18, 10:16 authored by Gary J. HillThis research has investigated the developments in Computer Assisted Learning (CAL) and its
introduction and impact within civil engineering education.
The philosophy of Computer Assisted Learning in Higher Education and developments in
software specifically for this field are reviewed. This provides the background to a critical

software to help in the teaching of Structural Analysis and Design to BTEC and degree
students is then described. [Continues.]
