Effect of Pro-Long on the storage of mango fruit

Post-harvest treatment of mango (Mangifera indica L.) with Pro-Long was studied. Mature green mangoes pre-treated with benomyl fungicide (in order to reduce spoilage due to fungal attack during storage) were dip-treated with different concentrations of Pro-Long and stored at 13(±2)°C/85–95% R.H. (optimum low temperature) and 25(±2)°C/85–95% R.H. (tropical ambient conditions) respectively. [Continues.]
